Job Responsibility

Organizes and directs the daily activities of the laboratory
Perform daily maintenance and quality control procedures and maintenance
Performs phlebotomy and routine laboratory tests
Operate diagnostic equipment to administer routine tests
Investigate and follow up on issues, problems and complaints as brought up by lab staff, management, and clinical staff
Complete monitoring, record keeping, and reporting for all waived testing
See that all laboratory procedures are followed, and testing is performed within compliance
Manage human resources: recruit, discipline, orient and train new staff members
Evaluate staff for performance under the direction of the lab director
Schedule and assign staff as needed

Job Responsibility
