Job Description:

Based in Gurgaon (India), this role serves as a critical link between market and firm-level financial insights and business intelligence. The position is responsible for analyzing industry trends across all investment and client segments, tracking the global asset management ecosystem, developing intuitive Power BI dashboards, and delivering high-impact MI reporting that supports the firm’s strategic objectives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with global Finance and Strategy teams on initiatives that support firm-wide objectives and strategic priorities
  • Analyze global asset management industry trends and reporting across Mutual Funds, ETFs, and Alternatives, spanning all client segments, with a strong grasp of competitor dynamics
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to enhance insights from both internal and external industry data sources, building a holistic view of market dynamics to inform decision-making
  • Lead the design and development of interactive, scalable dashboards using Power BI to support decision-making across for senior leadership
  • Create innovative visualizations and integrate new tools to meet evolving data and business requirements by writing optimized DAX queries and perform data transformations to enhance reporting performance and usability

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field with 3-5 years of professional experience
  • Strong understanding of investment concepts, financial instruments
  • Experience evaluating financial performance in public and private markets
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and a track record of handling large datasets and summarizing findings into succinct written briefs/presentations, including experience using CoPilot and other AI software products
  • Professional experience with PowerBI data visualization software (any other related tool is a plus, e.g., Tableau). Proven experience with Power BI: dashboard creation, data modeling, DAX, and publishing reports
  • Experience working with large data sets
