Our client in the insurance space is looking for detail-oriented temporary staff to join their team for a specialized Competitive Intelligence Project. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient data entry of market information into our client's database. Your work will be foundational to this project's success, ensuring the analysts and leadership have access to clean, reliable data to drive strategic business decisions.
Job Responsibility
Competitive Data Extraction: Navigate data and information based on specific provided profiles
High-Volume Data Entry: Accurately input information into a centralized Excel database
Profile Management: Utilize specific data points provided in the project brief to ensure quote consistency
Quality Assurance: Self-audit your entries to identify and correct any typos or discrepancies before final submission
Performance Tracking: Maintain a steady pace to meet the project performance expectations per day
Technical Navigation: Seamlessly toggle between multiple browser tabs and Excel workbooks to maximize efficiency
Information Verification: Review provided documents and reports to extract niche data points as instructed by the Project Manager
Process Adherence: Strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure data integrity across the entire team
Status Reporting: Provide simple daily updates on your progress and any barriers encountered during the quoting process
Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with the team during the initial 2-day training period to master the internal logic of the project
Requirements
min 1 years experience Insurance, Banking, or Admin, Data, Data Entry Clerk, Administrative Assistant REQUIRED
Accuracy
Must be in Toronto/GTA and comfortable with 3 days on-site
At least 1 year of experience in a role focused on high-volume data entry
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (rated on a scale of 1-10)
Commit to the full 3-week project timeline without any days off
High School Diploma is the minimum
Strong typing skills with an exceptionally high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency in using Excel
Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining concentration and quality
Previous administrative, data entry, or clerical experience preferred
Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
