We are looking for a Market Insights Manager who will play a pivotal role in enabling data‑driven commercial decision‑making. This position transforms macro‑economic, market, shopper, customer, and competitive data into actionable insights that guide strategy and drive growth. As a key strategic partner to Commercial, Trade Marketing, Revenue Growth, Customer Value Growth Management, and Senior Leadership teams, you will translate complex data into clear, impactful recommendations that shape our portfolio and strengthen our market position.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver monthly market overviews for Commercial leadership, covering brand, category, and channel dynamics
Support Annual Business Planning (ABP) and Long‑Range Planning (LRP) by preparing insight-led presentations
Identify growth drivers, risks across cathegories
Analyze category performance using multiple data sources (e.g., NielsenIQ, YouGov and other sell-out datasets)
Prepare and present business reviews and in-depth category analyses
Lead ad-hoc shopper research studies in cooperation with agencies to understand motivations, usage occasions, need states, and potential barriers based on briefs from Portfolio, Channel Management, and ComEx teams
Represent Market Insights in key customer meetings
Support Trade Marketing teams through analytical capability development
Manage relationships with external data providers and research partners, including contract negotiations
Own and manage the Market Insights budget
Requirements:
University degree, ideally in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in FMCG insights, market research, analytics, or category development
Excellent written and spoken English
Strategic Thinking: Ability to interpret market trends and translate insights into strategy
Analytical Excellence: Strong data interpretation and evidence-based decision-making
Business Acumen: Deep understanding of FMCG industry dynamics, category trends, competitive landscape, shopper decision trees, and channel roles
Data Fluency: Proficiency in key FMCG data sources (e.g., NielsenIQ, YouGov, Focus Online, RetailZoom, DAS) and experience with Power BI
Curiosity & Proactivity: Strong problem-solving mindset and drive for continuous improvement
Influencing Skills: Ability to guide cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
