Market Information Technology Manager

• Manage technology needs within budget targets
• Assist and/or provide input to IT Leadership for capital expenditures (CAPEX) and department operating budget
• Analyze and assess current IT landscape on property and prepare estimate for necessary technology upgrades
• Evaluate and verify that each area of responsibility is in compliance with appropriate Marriott International Policies (MIPs)
• Implement solutions as directed to resolve IT discrepancies
• Order required equipment as directed
• Conduct periodic inventories of applications and hardware
• Analyze and validate that technology assets are secured
• Comply with technology-related vendor contracts
• Write and present proposals, analyses, project plans, cost models
• Provide customer service to property leadership and associates
• Respond to inquiries from customers/vendors/peer group
• Provide detailed status reports and coordinate 3rd party vendor management
• Ensuring client Technology needs are met
• Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity
• Provide technical guidance for assigned locations
• Escalate support for approved technology solutions
• Provide escalation and guidance for guest & associate internet access
• Escalate problems through direct supervisor or Global IT resources
• Image desktops, install new software applications, apply patches
• Move/add/change PCs/peripherals
• Perform routine desktop backup
• Provide end-user support
• Confirm technology security and compliance
• Support unit infrastructure
• Assist in creating and maintaining secure server environment
• Perform server backups and routine preventative maintenance
• Provide project support for corporate, regional and property initiatives
• Execute IT Hotel projects and manage vendor installations
• Conduct quarterly and annual IT audit and provide plan and recommendations
• Provide guidance on compliance with Marriott IT and Security Standards.

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• 2-4 years’ experience in Information Technology or related professional area.
• 2-year degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related major
• and 2 years’ experience in related professional area.
• 4-year degree from an accredited university or college in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related major.
• Candidates should reside within Lahaina, Hawaii.

Prior hospitality system-related experience, professional certifications desired.
