Job Description:

As the Market Director of Sales, you’ll lead and drive the sales strategy across your assigned hotels, guiding your team to meet and exceed revenue goals while building strong partnerships internally and externally.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead all sales and marketing efforts across your hotel(s), including proactive outreach, account maintenance, and business development
  • Create and execute annual business and marketing plans aligned with revenue goals, working closely with White Lodging and brand eCommerce teams
  • Oversee your sales team, setting goals, developing action plans, and fostering a guest-focused, high-performing culture
  • Use Delphi to manage business leads, generate contracts and reports, and ensure timely follow-up and communication with clients
  • Collaborate with Operations, the Front Desk, and the General Manager to ensure alignment on group business, guest experience, and strategy
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and hold accountable sales associates to deliver results and uphold company standards

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in hotel or hospitality leadership
  • Strong knowledge of travel industry trends, sales strategy, and the ability to adapt in a competitive marketplace
  • Proven success in leading high-performing teams and delivering revenue growth
  • Proficiency in Delphi FDC, Microsoft Word, Excel, and general sales tools and systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative leadership style
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or equivalent experience preferred
