Job Responsibility:

  • Onboard credible sellers in your country of operation using direct and referral sales processes and build strong partnerships to develop the FV portfolio, whilst ensuring all sellers meet international and FV quality and service codes
  • Achieve transactional and financial targets in the form of key performance indicators such as new customer conversion, seller transactional growth, product portfolio growth and competitiveness, income growth generation, and profit versus budget
  • Actively manage local marketing, attend conferences and networking events with the intention of attracting new customers and promoting the company
  • Ensure regular interaction with customers to address any service needs and increase FV’s share of wallet. Keep a close eye on customers' feedback to ensure that our products and services always exceed expectations and are competitive
  • Make frequent visits to customers and monitor and track the portfolio on a dynamic basis to recognize opportunities and threats early
  • Assume responsibility and be accountable for day-to-day management of the FV country portfolio
  • Ensure completion of periodic reviews and regular monitoring of all trading parameters within the review cycle
  • Develop and update account plans for each relationship and use it as a basis for regular customer interaction. Create an effective CRM system and ensure all new deals in discussion are recorded and updated electronically. Update and maintain customer information database on regular basis
  • Ensure that continuous and early feedback is given to the business on sales volatility, major deviations from plan, customer and 3rd party service partner suggestions
  • Evolve a CRM link to the FV service team to ensure the Platform’s day-to-day transaction needs are addressed and prioritised
  • Comply with internal policies to ensure high standards of operating consistency across the company. Ensure fulfilment of all required documentation as per FV’s compliance policies and other standard operating procedures

Requirements:

  • A pure food industry experience (Sales Department)
  • Product Experience: Canned Food (Beans/Vegetables/Fruits), Fresh Fruits & Vegetables, Pulses & Grains, Nuts, and commodities like Edible Oils & Fats, Rice, Flour, etc, and Dairy Products
  • Good connection with Producers/Merchant Exporters/ Traders exporting to the Middle eastern countries
  • Food Industry Experience 7-10years
