Job Description:

The Market Data IT Team within the Markets & Treasury domain is responsible for delivering stable, high-quality, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure solutions that support trading and treasury operations. The team designs, implements, secures, and supports critical infrastructure components including data centre networks, server capacity, data centres, and workplace environments (desktops, laptops, and mobile devices). Applications supported by the team are used across multiple global regions, including Australia, Europe, and the Americas. The team operates across several locations including London, Utrecht, and India.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define requirements to maintain Market Data (MD) technical infrastructure with zero downtime objectives
  • Provide strategic and tactical architectural guidance for the implementation of market data systems
  • Review and approve proposals related to the design and implementation of market data platforms
  • Manage and maintain Market Data procedures and system documentation
  • Improve governance within Incident Management and define a comprehensive Monitoring Matrix
  • Align with stakeholders on application usage and optimization
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on migration of application contracts from On-Premise to Managed Services
  • Document the current system landscape and identify improvement opportunities
  • Represent business stakeholders and translate business needs into technical requirements for the squad
  • Analyse data and configure market data platforms to ensure effective control, performance, and reliability

  • Broad knowledge of IT services and technologies supporting Market Data delivery
  • Technical experience with: Automated software distribution
  • Software packaging

  • Demonstrated trading floor / trading room environment experience
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly within a Market Data environment
