The Market Change and Comms Lead is responsible for delivering the full suite of change management and communications activities required to support the successful deployment of global transformation initiatives within the market. The role acts as the primary coordinator for local change interventions, communication planning, readiness tracking, and management of Market Change Agents. Working closely with the Business Unit Market Change Coordinator and Regional Change Team, the role ensures global playbooks and materials are effectively localised to meet market needs and enable smooth adoption. Job Responsibility
Delivery of Market change interventions, using method and materials detailed in the global Playbooks (localised by wave teams), in collaboration with BU Market Change Coordinator
Owns and delivers market level comms plan, using comms Toolkit materials. Utilises Wave Comms playbook to localise to their local market requirement
Validates change impact assessment – conducts local CIA for their market. Attends local design workshops (where necessary), and captures impacts into Change Impact Template
Manages team of Market Change Agents, to tailor Global Comms materials depending on local functional needs (including tone of voice and facilitating any translation requirements)
Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of key messages and change interventions across business functions
Identify, monitor, and manage market-level risks, issues, and roadblocks related to change adoption, escalating to the Market Change Advocate and Regional Change Team as appropriate
Collate ongoing feedback and readiness levels from their market teams and report back/escalate to the Regional Change Team where necessary
Engage with market leadership, functional stakeholders, and global/regional programme teams to align change activities and expectations
Participate confidently in governance and decision forums, raising risks, issues, and readiness updates as needed
Requirements
7 years experience
Understanding of Change Management frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) is desirable but not essential
Understanding of local market operations, including key stakeholders and organizational structures
Bachelor's Degree in related field
