Job Description

Job Responsibility

Provide legal support on privacy and data protection issues across APAC to ensure robust support.

Requirements

  • Over 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), with a preference for those who have gained expertise in an in-house legal setting
  • Expertise in providing legal support on APAC data privacy matters
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • able to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced legal environment while effectively communicating complex information
  • Must possess full working rights in Australia and be fully qualified and eligible to practice law within the country.

  • Partner with Adyen’s payment and product partnerships teams to help build, manage, and grow strategic relationships with card networks, payment methods, financial institutions, and other financial and technology partners that support Adyen’s product and technical stack
  • Structure, draft, and negotiate strategic infrastructure partnership agreements to enable and optimize Adyen’s payments and financial products across our Asia-Pacific markets
  • Collaborate with product, regulatory, compliance, risk, finance, partnerships, and other cross-functional teams to ensure our partner deals conform to our regulatory positions and support our product development, market expansion, and commercial objectives
