Job Description

GSK is looking for a Market Access and Government Affairs Manager to play a crucial part in business management. The role is responsible for the development and execution of the market access and government affairs strategy to gain optimal reimbursement and access for pipeline products, shape the market environment, and strengthen GSK's position in Indonesia.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and execute the market access and government affairs strategy
  • Proactively develop creative and effective strategies to gain early optimal reimbursement and access for pipeline products
  • Shape market environment and external stakeholder management to enhance better access and strengthen GSK’s position
  • Impart GSK strategic positions to all relevant external and internal stakeholders
  • Create and maintain networking of key stakeholders including government and private healthcare bodies, medical society, and key health policy stakeholders
  • Develop and defend differentiated value propositions to various payers and decision makers
  • Participate in regional and private payer negotiations allowing to secure optimal outcome
  • Lead the cross-functional partners in the development and delivery of reimbursement submission for private and public payers
  • Formulate strategic partnership framework which consist with overall company strategy, and identify potential external stakeholders & partnership areas
  • Gain deep understanding of stakeholders needs to create meaningful solutions and outcome to patients and healthcare stakeholders
  • Leading matrix leadership projects as project manager role
  • Prioritize the strategies and actions based on the potential size of the opportunity, and develop the subsequent implementation plan
  • Execute government affairs plans to build trust and strong personal network with key policy stakeholders across the government, public sector strategy industry
  • Support development and dissemination of internal/external narrative
  • Work closely with the Above country teams, Finance, Marketing, Medical, Sales, legal and compliance to gain buy and approval for strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in sciences
  • More than 5 years experiences in Market Access and Government Affairs
  • Experience of implementing and measuring government affairs strategies, market access strategies, product negotiation and pricing regulations
  • Experience interacting with national, regional and international policy makers

Nice to have

  • Pharmacy is preferred
  • MBA with Pharmaceutical market experience is the plus
  • Successful engagement with policy makers and government activities
  • Understanding of political, legal, regulatory and social environment
  • Understanding of the political, economic and social sensitivities and practices
