Job Responsibility:
Manage diverse maritime engineering assignments from initial client inquiry through to final delivery
Serve as a technical lead, ensuring that solutions for wharves, jetties, marinas, and coastal protection are innovative, cost-effective, and compliant with relevant design codes
Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and budget management to ensure the timely delivery of maritime infrastructure
Apply engineering principles to coastal design, wave studies, and master planning while conducting thorough quality assurance reviews
Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a high performing and collaborative team environment
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing professional advice and tailored engineering solutions for marine environments
Assist leadership with workload forecasts and contribute to the preparation of proposals and new business opportunities
Requirements:
Bachelor of Civil, Coastal, or Maritime Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in maritime or coastal engineering projects
Proven track record in marine construction methods, including piling, dredging, and wharf construction
Strong working knowledge of Australian Standards, design codes, and maritime legislation
