Requirements:
Requires a High School diploma or GED or the overall equivalent
At least a month of related experience and/or training
Must be certified as a NFPA Competent Person
Computer skills to include the basics of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
Must be able to acquire and maintain a government access badge
Able to support overtime as required to include weekends and holidays
Must be able to work within a shipyard environment including crawl spaces, confined quarters, stairs, narrow passages, etc.
Nice to have:
NFPA Competent Person for Maritime Confined Space certification
Minimum 3 months of experience in working as a Maritime Competent Person
