Requirements

Strong technical aptitude with a background in electronics, IT, or communications
Relevant field service or engineering experience, preferably in maritime, satcom, or data systems
Clean UK driving licence
GMDSS and GOC certifications preferred
Offshore survival certifications (BOSIET & OLF) desirable

Job Responsibility

Perform service, repair, testing, and commissioning of satellite communication and data systems
Conduct standard and custom system installations in the field
Liaise with customers in advance of deployments to ensure readiness
Prepare and mobilise tools, test equipment, and materials, sometimes at short notice
Submit accurate technical reports and service documentation following each task
Provide datacoms and satcom hardware support for the workshop when required
Conduct GMDSS surveys as part of maritime service requirements
