Job Responsibility:
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support maritime and admiralty cases
Draft motions, pleadings, and briefs with precision and attention to detail
Manage discovery processes, including document reviews and depositions
Represent clients in civil litigation matters, ensuring effective advocacy
Provide legal counsel on workers' compensation cases and maritime disputes
Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies for case management and resolution
Stay up-to-date with changes and developments in maritime and admiralty law
Facilitate negotiations and settlements where appropriate
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in case handling
Requirements:
Must be a licensed attorney with active credentials
Proven experience in civil litigation and maritime law
Demonstrated ability to draft motions, pleadings, and legal briefs
Strong familiarity with discovery processes and procedures
Proficiency in handling workers' compensation cases
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
