Marine Warranty & Vessel Assurance Surveyor

• Ensure that our client’s vessels comply with relevant international and local regulations, industry standards, and company policies
• conduct Marine Assurance, Dynamic Positioning projects, and other surveys and assignments
• ensure all operations, deliverables and quality of reports are in accordance with approved instructions, and ABL procedures and policies
• undertake business development activities with a view to promoting our Marine Assurance and Dynamic Positioning services to local clients
• responsible for delivery of quality documents within a timeline established by management and client
• ensure compliance with ABL Group’s QHSE policies, manuals, procedures, work systems and regulations at ABL premises and client sites

• certified Master Mariner (STCW II/2) or Chief Engineer (STCW III/2)
• at least 5 years’ experience within the Offshore or Maritime sectors
• experience conducting thorough inspections of vessels, offshore structures, equipment, and procedures
• several years of experience with DP systems, including both offshore operations and DP system assessments
• knowledge of maritime regulations and industry standards
• right to live and work in the United States

• IMCA recognized CMID, OCIMF OVID, or SOMWS accreditation is desirable
• a DP maintenance certification from one of the major manufacturers is beneficial
