Your role involves setting regional risk appetites, authorizing high-limit exposures, and collaborating with actuarial teams to refine pricing models. Requirements:
15+ years of experience within the Marine insurance industry, specifically within an Insurer or P&I Club environment
Extensive technical knowledge of Marine Cargo, Freight Forwarders’ Liability, and Charterers' Liability insurance products
A proven track record of managing a profitable book of business and leading underwriting strategy
Strong broker relationships and a deep understanding of the regional maritime market dynamics
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior underwriters and manage senior stakeholders
Relevant professional qualifications such as ACII or a degree in Maritime Studies, Law, or Insurance
