Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced marine technician to join our growing team. This is a seasonal position with the possibility of full-time year-round employment with very competitive pay.

Job Responsibility:

  • Testing performance of marine engines and electrical systems
  • performing services on Outboards, Inboards and Sterndrives
  • troubleshooting electrical and engine complaints
  • replacing broken/worn out parts
  • ability to perform service bulletins per manufacturer specifications
  • repairs hydraulic and steering systems
  • winterizing and summerizing all systems
  • follow company health and safety protocols
  • ability to work independent or in group
  • communication with office staff and Service Manager

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of inboard/sterndrive and outboard engines
  • able to work on land and on the water
  • able to diagnose and repair problems with all systems on boats, including drives, electrical and ballast systems
  • ability to use diagnostic computers an asset
  • replacing broken/worn out parts
  • ability to perform service bulletins per manufacturer specifications
  • repairs hydraulic and steering systems
  • winterizing and summerizing all systems
  • follow company health and safety protocols
  • ability to work independent or in group
  • communication with office staff and Service Manager
  • marine technician certification is a plus
  • understanding of HIGH standards
  • attention to detail
  • able to communicate with customers in a professional manner
  • ability to work with minimal supervision
  • valid Driver's License
  • valid Boaters License
