Job Description:

The Service Technician is responsible for evaluating, repairing, and supporting warranty-related product returns while assisting with day-to-day service shop operations. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational mechanical and electrical knowledge who are motivated to develop their technical skills in a structured service environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Inspect and troubleshoot returned products for warranty assessment, with guidance from senior technicians
  • Repair and rebuild products in accordance with company standards and documented procedures
  • Communicate repair findings and warranty decisions clearly and professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal teams via phone and email
  • Support daily service shop operations in coordination with service personnel, product teams, and engineering
  • Maintain accurate, clear, and well-organized service records, including documentation and order entries
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and contribute to a clean, organized workspace

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of DC and AC electrical systems, hydraulics, and troubleshooting principles
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on repair experience
  • Basic computer proficiency (email, documentation, order processing)
  • Prior experience in the marine or boating industry is preferred
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
  • Willingness to learn and expand technical capabilities
