As part of the talented Customer Experience team, you will be responsible for maintaining Mercury Marine products both on and off Disney property. You will be relied on to have the skills needed to troubleshoot and fix issues that may arise, all while maintaining positive relationships with peers and other staff. The ability to work independently and be a self-motivator is a must for this role.
Job Responsibility:
Provide onsite & offsite installation, repair, and maintenance of Mercury Marine products
Assist and advise Mercury Marine Contract Services and Mercury Marine accounts on proper product configuration, installation, and integration
Communicate information to service, manufacturing, and quality engineering groups
Investigate, diagnose, and resolve application installation, setup, configuration, and service-related product malfunctions and issues
Perform other duties as assigned by the Contract Services Manager

Complete and submit reports on field-related activities as necessary
Must be a self-starter capable of working both independently, as well as part of a team
Receive requests from Disney staff in person, over the phone, or via email regarding boat status to understand and prioritize current needs & expectations
Provide on/offsite marine service at assigned customer or company locations
Provide service dockside or at a maintenance facility
Work in a highly dynamic work environment with tight deadlines
Diagnose engine performance, rigging, controls, gauges, and other marine equipment/systems
Provide maintenance services on Mercury products and related boat hardware to factory specifications
Keep detailed Service Logs and submit reports on field-related activities as necessary
Safely and properly operate all equipment (i.e., trucks, trailers, forklifts & boats)
To perform boat & engine rigging, de-rigging, and boat launching & removal
Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner
Dynamic and flexible work schedule, as assigned, including weekends
Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of Mercury product and marine vessel systems, specifically on electrical systems
Complete understanding of customer service philosophy and procedures of the company
Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to interact within the organization, customers and vendors
Effectively plan, develop, and execute product issue resolution, installation, and integration in the field
Excellent computer and technology skills capitalizing on effective communication, meticulous data gathering and documentation through digital media
Through understanding of the marine service environment with minimum 4-6 years in marine service-related capacity
Diverse advanced marine Mechanical/ Electrical background
Willingness to travel (40%) with occasional multi-week travel events as required. International travel may also be required
Ability to work independently, make accurate decisions, and analyze risk
Positive work ethic, motivated self-starter, integrity and professional. Adaptable & flexible to change. Organized with good time management skills
