Job Description

We are seeking a Marine Construction Project Manager to join an industry-leading commercial marine construction and engineering company. The role involves overseeing marine construction projects, managing budgets and schedules, coordinating with suppliers and project teams, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within scope. The ideal candidate has strong project management experience, technical knowledge of marine construction, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and oversee marine construction projects from planning to completion
  • Develop bid proposals and calculate project costs
  • Procure materials and services and manage supplier relationships
  • Schedule project work activities and coordinate with project personnel
  • Provide guidance and oversight to Superintendents, Foremen, and project teams
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Interpret project plans and specifications for internal and external stakeholders
  • Negotiate contracts and manage change orders as required
  • Participate in safety and process improvement initiatives to enhance operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience

  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
  • Experience with marine construction materials and methods
  • Proficiency in project tracking and management software
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental compliance standards
