Job Description

Marine Pipe Fitters Wanted – Plymouth. Are you ready to take your pipe fitting skills to the next level on some of the UK’s most complex and high-profile engineering projects? We are hiring Marine Pipe Fitters to support a wide range of critical work in Plymouth servicing warships, maintaining submarines, or supporting factory-based builds, you will be at the forefront of UK defence engineering.

Job Responsibility

  • Manufacturing ferrous and non-ferrous pipe systems
  • Installing and testing new pipework
  • Conducting system and equipment functional tests
  • Working with precision from technical drawings and work instructions

Requirements

  • Recognised mechanical qualification (Apprenticeship or Level 3)
  • SC Security Clearance (or ability to obtain it)
  • A background in mechanical or marine engineering
  • Experience working with high-performing engineering teams
  • Confidence using general workshop machinery

Nice to have

  • Ideally, time served in a marine or naval apprenticeship
  • Whether you have worked on vessels, large commercial ships, or bring relevant experience from another engineering sector
