Experience in product companies as product owner/manager
experience delivering strategic change programs spanning multiple years in a fast-paced financial product company
adept in agile practices and strong ability to develop, manage and continuously prioritize backlog
product knowledge of Margin & collateral, OTC Derivatives or payments flows or related domain is a plus
energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive
strong, influential communicator who is articulate and concise
strong risk management and control mindset
self-reliant, good problem solver, results-oriented

Job Responsibility

Collaborate with prospective and operational and business users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into technology product requirements
align with the vision for the team’s product and maintain the cohesive vision throughout the SDLC process
create a product roadmap based on this vision
manage the product backlog and prioritize tasks based on challenging and often competing requirements
actively participate in stages of the technology product creation, including formulation and definition of systems scope, objectives, and necessary system enhancements
monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process
identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk mitigation options
consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications
partner with multiple management teams to meet organizational objectives
evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements

University degree or equivalent experience
5-7+ years of relevant experience in Tier 1 global financial institutions
Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Job Responsibility

Execute Derivatives trade confirmation and settlement in timely and accurate manner
Generate Margin call to clients and post collateral as per agreement
Formulate procedures, techniques and contribute to the development of new techniques that increase team productivity, ensuring entire team meets or exceeds performance goals
Escalate control gaps and issues to leadership and implement procedures and solutions to mitigate risk
Proactive engagement with Singapore country and Global Commodities stakeholders (Business, Technology, Finance/PCG, Legal etc.) in order to support the business and clients
Work closely with the Risk & Control team in adhering to an effective control framework that fully meets Audit, Compliance and Regulatory requirements
Involvement in developing standardized and sustainable operational workflow and service standards for new product or product variations launches by Global/APAC Commodities business. ie. NPAC process
Ensuring robust infrastructure and tools (Dashboards, MIS, Alerts etc.) are in place to effectively manage risk
Complete Static data set-up to facilitate trade booking in a timely and accurate manner
Perform reconciliation and investigate cash breaks in coordination with the Control team
