Job Description:

You will be responsible for the implementation and instruction of a two-week intensive training program for new employees in manufacturing. This position will provide guided and unguided training for the set-up and operation of CNC turning centers with Fanuc controls. In addition, this position will work closely with other trainers and management for continued success of our training program as well as identifying opportunities for continuous improvements with our internal training practices.

Job Responsibility:

  • Training program implementation and instruction
  • Conducting new employee orientation
  • Developing curriculum for the new employee orientation
  • Utilizing various assessment strategies
  • Identifying new training opportunities for shop floor personnel
  • Maintaining training documentation
  • Organizing and assisting training personnel
  • Communicating with all employees
  • Providing consistent instruction and clearly articulate all learning objectives

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located
  • Prior manufacturing work experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Highly motivated and self directed with the ability to motivate others
  • Demonstrate organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
  • Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
  • Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
  • Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
  • Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
