Job Description:

As a Manufacturing Test Engineer – Network, you'll be part of a small, agile, and adaptive engineering team driving innovation within our manufacturing operations with a focus on HPE Network products to ensure seamless support throughout the remanufacturing process. Your work will contribute to sustainability goals while solving complex challenges and driving efficiency within processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Accelerate automation and implement corporate-standard testing to optimize processes
  • Develop and maintain sanitization and testing strategies for inbound and outbound product flows
  • Manage the introduction and lifecycle of assigned product sets, ensuring seamless operations
  • Resolve customer issues and implement strategies to mitigate short- and long-term impacts
  • Analyse data to evaluate performance trends and identify improvement opportunities
  • Ensure process documentation remains compliant with required accreditations
  • Represent engineering in cross-functional reviews, driving technical insights and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technology or manufacturing-related engineering discipline or equivalent
  • Typically, 4 years + experience
  • Proficiency in Python and Perl programming, with experience developing scripts for automation and testing in manufacturing or engineering environments
  • Strong technical knowledge in networking technologies, including VLAN configuration, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and network troubleshooting tools, with familiarity with HPE Aruba networking solutions and associated hardware/software (or 3rd party equivalent technologies)
  • Knowledge of industry-standard data sanitization techniques and applicable standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in understanding material properties, hardware design, and electrical component manufacturing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with mastery in English and the ability to craft clear technical documentation and reports
  • Proven ability to communicate manufacturing plans, proposals, and results effectively to stakeholders, and negotiate options at various management levels.
