The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for processing blood products to sterile serum, ensuring that products are high quality and that processes are meticulously documented. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager and is part of the Manufacturing team located in Tauranga, NZ and will be an on-site role.
Job Responsibility:
Undertake manufacturing operations including processing blood products to raw serum (separate, process, and package raw serum)
process raw to sterile serum (filter, fill, and package sterile serum)
undertake other duties as directed including undertaking cleaning procedures to a defined standard
cross-support to other functions
participate in a range of company activities and initiatives
follow Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP) and maintain meticulous documentation
comply with the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Environmental Health & Safety Management System, all internal policies and any applicable laws and regulations
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in manufacturing role(s)
completed high school at NCEA Level 3 (or equivalent qualification level)
Nice to have:
Manufacturing operations in a cGMP and/or clean room environment
