As our new Manufacturing Technician, you’ll take ownership of assembling electrical, mechanical, and electronic components across multiple product lines, ensuring the highest quality standards. Working as a collaborative team, you’ll help to ensure we maintain adequate resources and materials to achieve product deadlines, support stock optimization and product testing including validation and quality control responsibilities. You will be someone with previous experience in a role like this, which means you can look forward to helping provide technical guidance and mentoring more junior team members, contributing to process improvements, and occasionally stepping into project supervisory responsibilities. This is a hands-on role in a small, agile team where collaboration, problem-solving, and precision is key to delivering innovative solutions on time.
Job Responsibility:
Assembling electrical, mechanical, and electronic components across multiple product lines
Ensuring the highest quality standards
Helping to ensure we maintain adequate resources and materials to achieve product deadlines
Supporting stock optimization and product testing including validation and quality control responsibilities
Providing technical guidance and mentoring more junior team members
Contributing to process improvements
Occasionally stepping into project supervisory responsibilities
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Automotive and/or automated machinery experience
Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes, tolerances, and mechanical drawings
Excellent people skills with an internal & external customer focus
Very good organisation skills and detail oriented
Knowledge of MRP systems
Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
Nice to have:
A tertiary qualification in electrical or mechanical (or mechatronics/ electronics/ robotics, etc.)
Forklift experience and licence
Electrical workers registration
Experience and understanding of Linux and SolidWorks
Experience with 5S and other Lean Manufacturing tools
