We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician II to join our team in Birmingham (B15). In this role, you will play a vital part in producing world-leading diagnostic products that drive global medical progress. This is a full-time, onsite position offering a regular daytime schedule and the opportunity to work within a high-standard manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibility:
Independently manage your workload against the daily manufacturing plan
Manage and transact materials to ensure production lines remain active
Perform scheduled activities and basic upkeep for designated equipment and areas
Take personal responsibility for 'Right First Time' delivery to maintain high compliance standards
Proactively identify ways to improve efficiency and processes
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, or laboratory setting
A strong focus on quality and compliance in a fast-paced environment
Competence with machinery and proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
Ability to follow complex instructions, multi-task, and work independently under pressure
