Support includes, on a daily basis, training or functional environment including, but not limited to, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, system installation, removal and configuration, troubleshooting, reporting inventory and quality management system support
Applies comprehensive knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents and support complex integrated systems in accordance with the published FAA or manufacturer guidance or documentation
Perform tasks to include a wide array of complex and varying assignments and understand new technologies and methods that require the application of technical knowledge
Applies judgement to the planning work sequence and in selecting tools and testing instruments, as well as provide familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits
Performs testing utilizing Oscilloscopes, Digital volt/ohm meters, and other test equipment
Performs fact finding and analysis, as required, to address a single activity or a routine problem, and apply established procedures where the nature of the system, feasibility, computer equipment, operating system and programming language have been decided
Conducts research on routine user problems and solve them by modifying the existing system when the solutions follow clear precedents
Assists higher level technicians and provides guidance to lower-level technicians
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company

AAS degree in electrical, electronics, instrumentation or industrial technology with at least 2 years of experience working with instrumentation and calibrations in a GxP environment OR HS diploma with 2 - 5 years of experience working with instrumentation and calibrations in a GxP environment or military training

Selects and procures instrument spare parts to minimize equipment downtime
Trains other calibration technicians and ensures proper training of calibration technicians
