Job Description

The Manufacturing Technician 1 is expected to work independently, perform laboratory functions involved in production processes of buffer preparation, lyophilization, ELISA plates and some other related job responsibilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Work independently
  • Perform laboratory functions involved in production processes of buffer preparation, lyophilization, ELISA plates
  • Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Assist immediate supervisor with day to day laboratory operations
  • Perform goods movement through required databases
  • Archive quality documents
  • Make and test ELISA plates
  • Formulate recombinant protein to be lyophilized
  • Follow batch records, SOP, or working instructions to make ELISA plates, Lyoplates, lyophilized recombinant standards
  • Perform data entries in Filemaker and SAP system
  • Maintain lab inventory
  • Accurate data entry
  • Review / scan batch records
  • Be familiar with quality system & safety procedures
  • Have basic knowledge of computer software
  • Finish assignments on time to help keep up team productivity
  • Prepare buffers for internal or production orders
  • Operate lyophilizer for all lyophilization processes
  • Promote a safe working environment
  • Follow BD environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures
  • Take responsibility for safety in immediate work area
  • Participate in EH&S programs
  • Notify supervisor of all observed hazardous conditions or unsafe work practices
  • Perform duties as assigned by supervisor and trainer

Requirements

  • 0-2 years’ experience in a Biotech/Science manufacturing lab environment
  • High school diploma
  • Pipetting
  • Dilution
  • Good documentation skill
  • Must have pipetting, dilution, calculation
  • Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only
