Job Description:

Supervise daily activities in the production area to ensure manufacturing goals and project deadlines are met while maintaining regulatory compliance. Manage production and staff performance while ensuring operational efficiency and continuous improvement. Provide troubleshooting assistance and guidance during deviations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise daily activities in the production area

  • manage performance of direct reports
  • review and approve documentation for batch records
  • lead continuous improvements and lean manufacturing activities
  • develop training content and facilitate training for employees
  • ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • submit and maintain reports related to efficiency, safety, and other metrics
  • resolve technical and material problems
  • represent the company during FDA inspections as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum Associate's degree with technical subject area required
  • 3 years manufacturing experience and 2 years of supervisory experience
  • consistent track record of interpersonal and leadership skills
  • in-depth process knowledge of related manufacturing equipment and processes
  • ability to lead multiple priorities in a manufacturing plant setting
  • ability to analyze and interpret scientific and statistical data
  • strong professional writing skills
  • ability to understand GMPs and other applicable regulatory guidelines
  • strong troubleshooting skills
  • computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise software
  • critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
