Job Responsibility

Support daily machining operations by troubleshooting process, tooling, fixture, gaging, machine, and equipment-related issues
Define and improve manufacturing processes, including sequence of operations, process flow, and efficient material flow
Support SORs and project management activities for tooling, stations, machining equipment, and specific technologies
Support design, construction, integration, plant installation, launch, and continuous improvement of equipment and tools
Provide technical direction to and oversight of outside vendor sources
Incorporate human factors into process and equipment design
Analyze process capability, dimensional performance, gage data, tool life, and machine performance to implement improvements
Work with production, maintenance, quality, tooling, and manufacturing engineering teams to resolve issues and drive corrective actions
Participate in PFMEA, process control planning, and quality system activities
Support development and testing of advanced process technology as required
