Job Description:

We are looking for a People Experience Advisor to support our staff across the manufacturing business. The People Experience team prides itself on providing guidance and support for all employees within the manufacturing sites in Poole. The advice and guidance is based on UK Employment Law and Best practice. This role requires someone proactive with an empathetic and kind manner. You will be expected to deal with sensitive situations whilst remaining professional at all times.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing support and guidance for all staff in LUSH Manufacturing - people/wellbeing related
  • Creating innovative ways we can positively support the business
  • Give day to day advice via telephone, email or visits across all manufacturing sites
  • Create and deliver Skill up, mental health awareness and respect at work sessions for management teams across all manufacturing and support areas
  • To present to large or small teams when needed
  • Create content for the manager toolkit
  • Provide employment law, best-practice guidance and coaching for management teams and employees
  • Advise on investigations and disciplinaries and complete where needed
  • Hear grievances and appeals
  • Coach management on resolution
  • Mediate when needed (after training)
  • Absence and sickness management guidance provided across all teams
  • Support with wellbeing meetings for employees on long term sick
  • To be involved with any capability hearing processes
  • Advise on and manage Occupational Health referrals
  • Note-taking for procedural meetings and investigations
  • Keep up to date with employment law legislation changes via training sessions
  • Attend internal and external training
  • Supporting department managers with employee relations
  • Facilitate meetings
  • Communicate company policy updates
  • Engage with management teams and production staff on a regular basis
  • Engage with the People teams from retail and support areas
  • Help to promote a positive working environment for all employees
