Job Responsibility
Coordinating manufacturing activities and assuring regulatory compliance
Overseeing the supervision of personnel, evaluating performance, and making recommendations for personnel actions
Motivating, coaching, inspiring, and mentoring employees to achieve peak productivity and performance, while actively participating in all HR programs & initiatives related to your area
Selecting and developing high-quality team members, creating a succession plan for the department, and optimizing assemblers' weekly scheduling and output
Updating capacity plans for business plan inputs based on Sales & OP Forum and Grow Management Inputs
Ensuring appropriate use of expenses & overhead in your manufacturing area
Actively assisting in the plant’s annual budget preparation, overseeing budget implementation, and taking steps to eliminate or reduce budget deviations
Coordinating materials usage, human resources, and support from other departments to achieve optimum production, utilization levels, and efficiency
Helping Manufacturing Staff develop strategies among all required departments to meet Budget & Forecast production plans
Developing, tracking, and reporting visual metrics, including key performance measures for your area, and reacting to metrics by identifying and solving problems
Making improvements and advancements in process control, monitoring Manufacturing Area/Lines production and quality performance to focus continuous improvement efforts and resources
Reviewing and analyzing production and process issues to determine opportunities to eliminate non-conformance
Fostering and improving Haina Plant recognition programs for manufacturing employees, contributing to and participating in Corporate and Plant program implementation
Observing all company and regulatory EHS requirements
Generating, maintaining, evaluating, and reviewing your area’s metrics as per the designed frequency
Being accountable for implementing and monitoring countermeasures for any deviations found
Anticipating issues and risks that might affect any plant’s primary or secondary process, and mitigating or eliminating those issues
Actively supporting all activities related to People: Organizational Inventory, Talent Review, and EHS activities to ensure a safe workplace
Setting up and maintaining engineering initiatives aimed at eliminating or reducing waste and enhancing the use of space, labor, energy, material, and production supplies
Developing and maintaining the Value Improvement Program (VIP) and actively participating in Lean events, Kaizen, 6S, and Six Sigma along with other process enhancement approaches
Requirements
B.S. or equivalent experience, preferably in industrial engineering
7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or manager role
Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry (strongly preferred)
Solid knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO 13485, and FDA regulations
Proven leadership and team development skills, with experience managing large teams or multiple operations
Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
Experience leading lean/continuous improvement initiatives
