Job Description

This position is responsible for assisting in providing support in maintenance, repair and support to assigned service calls to gain knowledge and skills for career development within Facility maintenance. A detailed breakdown of the different responsibilities associated with this position is defined below. The hours for this role are 2pm - 10:30pm M-F

Job Responsibility

  • Assist in performing various preventive maintenance tasks and procedures concerning buildings and equipment
  • Develop skills for troubleshooting and repair of equipment
  • Assist in performing component replacement
  • Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts
  • Operate equipment, vehicles, powered industrial trucks, and aerial lifts safely
  • Perform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenance
  • Clean the interior of the building, as well as machinery and equipment, and exterior of the building
  • Complete administrative duties, such as filling out forms and reporting maintenance statuses to supervisor
  • Comply with all safety and health regulations
  • Keep inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies and equipment, and report needs to supervisor
  • Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
  • Work with and maintain relationships with contracted vendors
  • Properly complete all repair, labor, parts purchasing and usage documentation in a timely fashion
  • Comply with all department and company policies and procedures
