Job Description:

This position will support our Cable Assembly and other assembly areas.

Job Responsibility:

Create and modify cable drawings and technical documentation
Work with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings to ensure accuracy and completeness
Build and assemble electrical test fixtures for cables and related components
Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions
Maintain accurate records and documentation of assembly processes and test results
Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and technicians to troubleshoot assembly challenges
Assist in organizing and maintaining work areas to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards

Requirements:

Recent degree or current enrollment in an engineering program (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field)
High GPA (3.0 or above preferred)
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to manufacturing environments
Strong organizational and communications skills
Experience with 2D drawing and drafting using software similar to CorelDraw
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
Hands-on experience with assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing processes (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in technical work
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements
Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing routings (preferred)
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with engineers and technicians
Knowledge of workplace safety standards and practices in manufacturing settings

Nice to have:

Hands-on experience with assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing processes
