Job Description

As a Business Engineer, you will support management in resource reviews, analyze and optimize capacity, support management in resource reviews, improve operational performance, and drive process improvements across the organization. You will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to senior management, and act as a trusted advisor and analytical specialist. You will work across all levels of the factory, from management to operators, with cross-sectoral stakeholders. Tasks range from recurring operational support to ad hoc projects, combining in-depth analysis with people and change management.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead capacity planning, resource reviews, and cost management
  • Design, implement, and maintain performance metrics and dashboards
  • Analyze data to support management decisions and drive operational improvements
  • Develop and visualize reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions
  • Identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Standardize and document business processes, ensuring data integrity
  • Lead or support business improvement initiatives and lean projects
  • Facilitate workshops and implement process-driven changes
  • Track and evaluate project benefits and outcomes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels and departments

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Technical Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
  • 7–8 years (or more) relevant experience in business engineering or advisory within operationally oriented organizations
  • Experience with business analytics, process mining, modeling, optimization, and stakeholder/change management
  • Proficient with production-control IT tools (Excel, SAP, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Experience in functions combining data insights and process improvements (service, manufacturing, planning)
  • Highly motivated team player with excellent social, coordination
  • Strong communicator in English
  • Ability to adapt to multi-culture working environment
  • Ownership and initiative (“Lead by example” attitude)
  • Pragmatic, result-oriented, and hands-on
  • Ability to inspire and motivate across organizational levels
  • Strong analytics mindset, able to convert complex data into clear insights
  • Adequate presentation skills and ability to set up processes and structures
