Job Description

We are working with a growing organization in Chicago that is seeking a Manufacturing & Industrial Contract Recruiter to support high-volume hiring efforts. This role is ideal for an experienced recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong sense of urgency, and is motivated by making an immediate impact. This is a contract opportunity with the potential for extension and follows a hybrid schedule, with onsite presence more days than not.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume, hourly manufacturing and industrial roles
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to understand hiring needs
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies tailored to role requirements and business demands
  • Post positions and manage recruitment advertising efforts
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
  • Schedule and conduct interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders
  • Support the offer process by providing recommendations on compensation, start dates, and other details
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of full-cycle, high-volume recruiting experience
  • Manufacturing or industrial recruiting experience preferred
  • Agency recruiting background strongly preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work with urgency while remaining organized and detail-oriented
