The purpose of the internship is to provide meaningful professional hands-on experience to students with leadership potential and proven academic performance. The Intern will perform entry‑level tasks using standard techniques and procedures. The intern will gain an in-depth knowledge of the product and its associated processes.
Job Responsibility:
Reviewing manufacturing and test procedures for clarity, accuracy, and completeness, and updating documentation in collaboration with Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering teams
Supporting Manufacturing Engineering in duplicating manufacturing and test fixtures, as well as developing and executing IQ, OQ, and PQ validation activities
Conducting basic PCB troubleshooting, analyzing data for trends, and preparing and presenting findings
Review process procedures, change orders, equipment specifications, validation plans, and reports
Performs research on technology, equipment and tooling to improve process quality, yield or cost. Generates proposals based on research
Assistance in creating, reviewing and maintaining department files
Performs experiments, analyzes and interprets numerical data from experiments
Summarizes findings by computer readouts, statistical summaries, graphs and other methods
Requirements:
Currently pursuing B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Systems, or Biomedical Engineering with a minimum of 2 college semesters complete
Ability to multitask
Requires confidence in using Microsoft Word and Excel tools
Requires Enthusiasm, motivation, initiative and ability to work within an interactive and energetic workplace
Ability to use common hand tools and electrical test equipment (DMM, power source, Oscilloscope) safely
