The Manufacturing Engineer supports production and logistics to ensure timely shipments and high-quality products. They assist in new product introductions, process improvements, and compliance with international shipping regulations.
Job Responsibility:
Classify products/parts for international shipping and customs compliance
Implement and support new/existing product changes via the ECO process
Improve and maintain manufacturing process instructions (MPIs)
Lead Lean initiatives: cell layout, replenishment, 5S, standard work, visual management, and quality improvements
Maintain BOMs and Kanban systems for accurate part usage and availability
Support continuous improvement in manufacturing quality
Requirements:
1-2 years of related work experience with a BS degree
3-5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to manufacturing demands
Detail-oriented, independent, and team-oriented
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
Experience in manufacturing processes, Lean principles, and logistics
Ability to work in high-demand situations and collaborate across teams
