SUMMARY The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining manufacturing processes to ensure optimal efficiency, quality, and safety. This role works closely with production, quality, and design teams to support continuous improvement and operational excellence in the manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibility:
Committed to Safety by performing all required tasks in accordance with established Company Policies, Procedures, and Safe Work Practices
Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products
Analyze production processes to identify bottlenecks, waste, and opportunities for improvement (using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies)
Develop and update process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process-related issues
Collaborate with design and R&D teams to ensure manufacturability of new products (DFM/DFA)
Support implementation of new equipment, tools, and automation systems
Develop and manage time studies, capacity analysis, and line balancing
Ensure processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements
Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising product integrity or compliance
Train production staff in new processes and improvements

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ERP systems
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement tools
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Requires frequent hands-on interaction with equipment and operators
Mix of office and shop floor
May involve occasional travel to suppliers or other company sites
Requires use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols
