Job Description

You will be part of the Operations Excellence Team within the Navigation Sensor Systems (NSS) Manufacturing Operations organization. Partner with a diverse team of manufacturing leadership, support staff, and manufacturing operators/technicians to develop solutions for gathering, interpreting, and visualizing data to help solve manufacturing challenges. The role requires use of your process knowledge and data analytics skillset to rapidly translate user requests of complex data sets into actionable insights, while ensuring data accuracy and fidelity.

Job Responsibility

  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to support informed decision-making within operations
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to present actionable insights to decision-makers
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to understand data needs and provide tailored analytical solutions
  • Ensure data and visualization efficiency, integrity and accuracy
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in manufacturing data
  • Manage, prioritize, execute and effectively communicate the list of data analytics projects
  • May support existing or develop new software applications for use in Manufacturing Operations

Requirements

  • BS in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering) and 4+ years of work experience
  • In lieu of BS, 8+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing setting including familiarity with Oracle (or similar) ERP systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with and ability to analyze data and extract insights using SQL and data visualization tools
  • Experience using data analytics tools such Power BI, Tableau, Minitab, Excel macros, Power Automate

Nice to have

  • Experience with C/C++/C#/Java or similar programming languages
  • Experience with HTML and JavaScript, app development, web hosting is a plus
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
