Job Description

Our client, a growing manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on financial leader with strong manufacturing industry expertise, deep knowledge of financial controls, and experience supporting operational decision-making in a fast-paced environment. NetSuite experience is required, and CPA and Adaptive Planning experience are highly preferred.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support business objectives
  • Develop and maintain internal controls, ensuring compliance and accuracy across financial reporting
  • Partner with operations and executive leadership to provide financial analysis, cost accounting insights, and strategic recommendations
  • Monitor inventory, standard costing, variance analysis, and other key manufacturing finance metrics
  • Lead cash management, audit support, and tax coordination activities
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff while driving process improvements and system efficiencies
  • Support system optimization and reporting enhancements within NetSuite and, ideally, Adaptive Planning

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Strong experience with Oracle NetSuite
  • CPA designation (preferred)
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory accounting, financial controls, and month-end/year-end close
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
