We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Associate in the Rotary Forge department at our Monroe, NC facility. As a manufacturing associate, you will play a valuable role in helping ensure our materials and products meet customer expectations. The Rotary Forge department is responsible for safely producing a forged billet (a cylindrical piece of solid metal) to our engineers’ specifications.
Job Responsibility:
Processing material by operating the abrasive saw, charger crane, running the cooling bed, straightener, assisting in the pulpit, operating the rotary forge, furnace room, and heat treat operations, and forklift
Perform a wide variety of tasks to assist in set-up and running equipment
Identify material coming into the department
Controlling and adjusting temperatures on the furnace
Maintain logs and records
Follow prescribed safety regulations
Maintain accurate, complete, and legible logs, records, and charts
Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and cranes
Requirements:
High School Diploma / GED
One (1) year of manufacturing experience
Basic computer skills
Basic math skills
Ability to read a tape measure as well as other measuring devices
