Manufacturing Assembler

• Assemble products according to the established documentation
• critique documentation for efficiency and redline as necessary
• manage production travellers and the device history record
• assist in the installation of new manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and tools for continuous process improvement
• identify cost reduction opportunities and implement cycle time improvements
• manage production workflow and yield
• maintain productivity metrices
• manage the manufacturing process, fellow technicians, assemblers, and documentation
• assist with equipment calibration scheduling, tool management, etc.
• perform different tasks as needed
• participate in engineering, quality, and regulatory activities

• 5+ years experience in medical device manufacturing in a regulated environment
• familiar with ISO13485 and 14971
• experience in electro-mechanical assembly and manufacturing
• wire and cable routing experience with connectors and soldering
• must be able to follow manufacturing documentation and facilitate changes or corrections
• knowledge of lean production methods desired
• individual should be a motivated, self-starter who handles multiple activities at the same time
• candidate must thrive in a startup organization poised for growth
• willing to work in a security conscious environment
