As an Advanced Joining Techniques Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs focused on advanced joining methods. You will play a crucial role in helping students and professionals master the intricacies of welding, brazing, soldering, and other innovative joining processes.
Job Responsibility:
Curriculum Development: Create and update training materials, course content, and hands-on exercises to ensure that the curriculum remains up to date with the latest advancements in joining techniques
Hands-On Training: Provide practical training in advanced welding, brazing, soldering, and other joining methods, emphasizing precision and quality
Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate the progress of trainees through practical assessments and written tests, offering constructive feedback for skill improvement
Safety Emphasis: Emphasize and enforce safety practices and protocols specific to advanced joining techniques to ensure a safe working environment
Equipment Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in operating and maintaining the latest equipment and tools used in advanced joining processes
Material Science: Educate students on material properties, selection, and their impact on the quality of joined components
Troubleshooting: Develop trainees' problem-solving skills in identifying and resolving issues related to advanced joining processes
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and training activities
Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in advanced joining techniques
Classroom Management: Manage the classroom environment, ensuring a positive learning atmosphere, and addressing any behavioural or disciplinary issues, as necessary
Requirements:
5-7 Years for degree with 2-3 years training experience and 8-10 Years Experience for diploma with 2-3 years training experience or equivalent in a related field, such as Materials Science, Welding Technology, or Metallurgy
Proven experience in advanced joining techniques, with a minimum of 2 years in a related role
Certification in advanced welding, brazing, soldering, or equivalent is highly desirable
Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols in advanced joining processes
Exceptional communication and instructional skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
