Job Description

Review business and functional requirements to identify test scenarios and acceptance criteria. Create and maintain test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test data. Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and data validation testing. Validate data accuracy and consistency between systems using SQL queries. Verify business rules, data transformations, and reporting outputs against requirements. Investigate defects by analyzing application behavior, database records, and system logs. Perform root cause analysis and work closely with developers to resolve issues. Validate data migration and ensure data integrity after deployments or system enhancements. Execute end-to-end testing across multiple systems and business workflows. Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide testing progress updates, and contribute to continuous process improvement. Support UAT activities and ensure critical business processes are fully validated before release.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related technical fields
  • From 3+ years of experience in Software QC/QA, System Testing, or Quality Assurance
  • Solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management process
  • Experience creating test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test reports
  • Strong knowledge of functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing
  • Hands-on experience validating data using SQL (joins, aggregations, subqueries, window functions are a plus)
  • Ability to verify business rules and ensure data consistency across applications
  • Experience analyzing defects through database queries, log analysis, and root cause investigation
  • Good understanding of APIs, databases, and system integrations is an advantage
  • Familiarity with data migration, reconciliation, or report validation is a plus
  • Basic understanding of data security concepts such as data masking, access control, and audit logs is preferred
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize testing activities based on business impact and project risks

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with data migration, reconciliation, or report validation is a plus
  • Basic understanding of data security concepts such as data masking, access control, and audit logs is preferred
