N-iX is looking for a Manual QA Engineer (Web & Mobile) to join our team! Our client is a leading, fully regulated US-based digital asset trading platform. They provide secure, low-latency access to cryptocurrency markets, acting as a bridge between traditional finance and the Web3 ecosystem. The QA Engineer will ensure the stability and reliability of core fintech products. By executing comprehensive manual and automated testing protocols, you will manage defect lifecycles and validate system fixes across both web and mobile platforms within a fast-paced Agile environment.
Job Responsibility:
Execute manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts for frontend and backend systems
Perform functional, smoke, regression, and exploratory testing across mobile and web platforms
Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as JIRA or TestRail
Run existing automated test scripts and analyze output for defects or inconsistencies
Collaborate with QA Engineers to identify areas for automation coverage expansion
Contribute to test data setup and validation of test environments
Validate bug fixes and assess regression impact before releases
Work closely with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and expected behaviors
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and QA reviews
Maintain up-to-date documentation of test results and report test coverage and defect trends
Requirements:
At least 2+ years of professional experience in Software QA or Software Development
Strong proficiency in manual testing methodologies with a foundational understanding of test automation
Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (specifically JIRA and TestRail)
In-depth knowledge of SDLC, QA best practices, and Agile development frameworks
Strong attention to detail with analytical and documentation skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills across engineering and product teams
Ability to prioritize work and manage time in a fast-paced environment
Upper-intermediate English proficiency is required, along with native proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese
Nice to have:
Exposure to test automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or Maestro)
Experience with API testing and integrating QA processes into CI/CD pipelines
Previous background in the FinTech, Crypto, or Web3 sectors
