Job Responsibility:

  • Work closely and clearly communicate with the other departments, Machine personnel, Supervisor, and Lead
  • Capable of operating all machines in the shop (including large mills, lathes, stripping machine, peening machine, tool post grinders, and other equipment)
  • Planning –Work with Department Supervisor to develop a machine plan: Determine what tools will be required prior to starting the machine process

Requirements:

  • Must have manual machining experience
  • Must have the required tools to perform their expected tasks or ability to acquire
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
  • Must be able to use precision measuring instruments

Nice to have:

Experience working with turbo machinery is a plus

  • Read, interpret, and apply advanced-level blueprints, including GD&T
  • Inspect and verify dimensional accuracy of workpieces using calipers, micrometers, indicators, profilometers, and other precision tools
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient project execution
