We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Manual Machinist to join our busy production team in South Edmonton. We are a well-established company known for precision manufacturing and high-quality industrial components. The Details: Location: South Edmonton, AB Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Pay: $36.00 per hour Start Date: Immediate

Job Responsibility

  • Operate manual lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications
  • Utilize drill presses and other shop equipment for secondary operations
  • Perform occasional setup and operation of CNC machinery as required by production needs
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders
  • Maintain equipment and ensure the work area is kept clean, organized, and safe
  • Conduct quality inspections on finished parts to ensure they meet stringent tolerance requirements

Requirements

  • Must be a skilled Manual Machinist with verifiable experience in a machine shop environment
  • Strong knowledge of shop mathematics, precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.), and blueprint reading
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proven track record of reliability and safety-conscious work habits

Nice to have

Experience with CNC operation is considered an asset
